Europe's Master Player
March 2008
Masterlease is emerging as a major player in the European full service leasing market after securing twelve deals that will be implemented over the next two years. The vast majority of these contracts see Masterlease managing and delivering fleets on a pan-European basis for major brands including top names in the IT and food industries.
The success means that Masterlease will be implementing around 15,000 new vehicles across Europe over the next two and a half years. Emmanuel Roche, Director of International Sales at Masterlease, believes the recent success has been down to the company’s track record of efficient implementation of European deals at a local level.
“As a smaller player in this market, we can offer customers something that our larger competitors cannot; individual attention and a fleet specifically tailored to the needs of each country. We don’t try and implement a one size fits all standard solution across all territories. Instead we work with teams in each country to ensure we are mindful of cultural sensitivities and local need.
“We have been able to demonstrate a real ability to consider all requirements, at both a global and local level and therefore implement the deals quickly and effectively. Our strongest asset is having a dedicated international sales team which we have structured to make sure it is the most effective in the leasing industry.”
Last year saw Masterlease make its first entry into the Scandinavian market, launching in Norway and Denmark and expanding the company’s global footprint to 17 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the UK.
According to Emmanuel Roche, the plans don’t stop there: “We have made no secret of our ambitions and are looking to become a world leader in full service leasing. With plans to further expand into other countries, our strong geographic presence and consistent branding enables Masterlease to offer a cohesive service across the Continent.”
